iCool "Dual Temp"

 Heat or Cool, the iCool Dual Temp can do both.

The iCool Dual Temp can cool or heat your pool across the entire range specified for optimum ice bath therapy or contrast therapy. You can set any temperature down as low as 5 degrees C/40°F or up to as high as 45 degrees C/112°F and your dual temp will take your pool to that temperature automatically and hold it there for as long as you wish. These temperature limits have been set after wide consultation with the sporting industry around the world.

Perfect for contrast therapy

One protocol now very much in favour is to heat your pool temp to around 38 degrees C and then to reverse the process of setting your dual temp to them cool the pool down to say 15 degrees C while the athlete remains immersed. This would typically take about an hour and this has been found to be extremely effective for pre-race preparation.

Superb Flexibility

An alternative arrangement would be to own two iCools, one cooling only system and one Dual Temp. This would allow complete training and recovery session flexibility. For example, for a contrast therapy session, the cooling only system would cool one pool, while your Dual Temp heats a second pool. Alternatively for ice bath recovery sessions both units could be used to cool pools. These combinations of multiple uses are available anywhere any time due to the excellent mobility of all iCool systems.

To save weight without compromising efficiency or safety, the latest ICool’s have new generation of rotary circulation pumps especially designed for the purpose. These pumps are electrically isolated from the water in a stainless steel jacket for complete safety and huge flow.

iCool is proud to introduce an industry first, a large full-colour touch screen replaces all switch es and buttons. Apart from making it much easier to use the system it allows us to install many new useful features. For example much more information is available to the user including instructions and help screens. Furthermore, as the system is based on a powerful Windows CE operating system it is backed by industry standards which allows us to modify systems to suit customers needs

Such a large cooling capacity needs enormous airflow and the new iCool’s are fitted with a specially manufactured multi- speed computer-controlled airflow system that gives exactly the right volume of cooling for the current conditions. Slower and quieter for normal conditions but with a huge reserve of air for those very difficult hot conditions. All the performance you need at the right time automatically.

Lighter and more flexible water hoses with quick snap fittings

Water hoses normally become very stiff and difficult to manipulate when very cold. iCool has now solved this problem in conjunction with a leading supplier. The latest iCool hoses are much lighter yet stronger and remain flexible even near freezing temperatures. Our standard quick snap water connectors are now even easier to use and the fittings are sized according to where they connect for easy identification and set up. Each cooling unit is provided with connection hoses.
